Students will be introduced to the 10 complete barre exercises - plies, battement tendus,battement jetes, rond de jambe a terre & en'lair, battement frappes, battement fondus, petit battements, developpes and grand battements. 

There will be more demanding ballet techniques taught in centre practice for slow adages, basic pirouttes - en dehor and en dedan, changements, glissades, assembles, jetes, temp lies and grand jetes. 

The class will focus on a combination of proper body posture and alignment,building a good foundation in the correct basic execution of movements as well as strengthening of foot work in order for easy future advancement to the next dance program level.
