Joni Tan Joni started ballet lessons at the age of 15. She possesses a Distinction in Level 2 Vocational Graded Examination in Dance (Intermediate) and a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance. Whilst undertaking her studies in Psychology in NUS, she began assistant-teaching for ballet classes 2004. She became a full-fledged ballet teacher in 2007, fulfilling her passion in spreading the love for dance.
As a dancer, she has performed in numerous musicals and dance performances, including performances with the Singapore Dance Theatre in their major productions.
In addition to dancing, Joni also loves music. She studied music at 'O' and 'A' Levels, with piano as her main instrument. She was actively involved in her Secondary School and Junior College Symphonic Bands, playing the Double Bass and Percussion instruments.

It is rare to find teachers like Hsienfa and Yaling who encourage and motivate students to reach their potential, no matter what their ability, experience, age, size, or body shape.
